MBA's Matilde Boshell and Atresmedia's Mar Martínez
In the framework of Jornadas in Argentina, Mar Martínez, International Director of Atresmedia, told PRODU that the signals ¡HOLA TV! and Atreseries will join Cablevisión Argentina’s basic digital package as of October.
That country’s biggest operator currently has 1,100,000 subscribers.
“This is a very important step for the development of the two signals in the region, and that proves the Argentinean market is moving and that private companies are once again taking risks,” said Martínez and she added that they will also provide VOD contents that will be part of Flow, the OTT platform that Cablevisión will launch at the end of October.
Martínez also said that Mexico’s Megacable broadened the distribution of ¡HOLA! TV.
As for programming novelties, the executive announced that on October 5, Atreseries will launch the second season of the thriller Mar de Plástico and that ¡HOLA TV! that month will be devoted to breast cancer prevention.
Meanwhile, Antena 3 is celebrating its 20th anniversary with special programming that included the participation of the audience, which had to choose the best program in these 20 years. The winner was the comedy: Aquí No Hay Quien Viva. The fifth season of Tu Cara Me suena will also be launched.
Atresmedia’s three signals are commercialized in the region by MBA, Matilde Boshell’s company.
“It is a pleasure to work as a team with them,” expressed Martínez.
