In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, from September 15th, Hulu will be premiering a lineup of Latino programming.
The users will have next-day access to episodes from four new Univision programs, including telenovelas like Despertar Contigo, El Color de la Pasión, and A Que No Me Dejas, as well as season two of La Banda, the singing competition series created by Simon Cowell (The X Factor, America’s Got Talent) and produced by Ricky Martin.
This offering expands upon Hulu’s multi-year content agreement with Univision that brings hundreds of hours of top-rated Spanish-language variety shows, comedies, reality series, and telenovelas such as: Mi Corazón es Tuyo, Un Camino al Destino, Pasión y Poder and Tres Veces Ana, which will air its final episode on Hulu on October 11th.
During the first week of Hispanic Heritage Month, Hulu will launch the fourth season of Estrella TV’s hit reality series, Rica Famosa Latina, as well as the Spanish versions of Disney Junior’s acclaimed animated series Bunnytown and Handy Manny (Manny a La Obra), bolstering its collection of exclusive, kids programming en español.
Hulu also will light-up three English-language programs from the millennial targeted Fuse network, including the documentary Jennifer Lopez: Her Life. Her Journey., as well as docuseries Los Jets, executive produced by Jennifer Lopez and Pastport, which takes Hispanic celebrities back to their country of origin to reconnect them with their roots.
