We are all storytellers was the title assigned to the panel led by Marcelo Paez of America Filmworks, Massimo Martinotti of Redmagmamedia, Diego Colombo of Alma, and Adrian Castagna of Flip Films, at the AHAA Conference held in collaboration with FIAP and Circulo Creative.As the panels title indicates, its experts talked about the content a story should have nowadays and how it should be told.Marcelo Paez, president of America Filmworks, told PRODU some of their conclusions. The panel was all about how we need to adapt to the world we live in today, and how we must learn to be more effective in our methods of communication. For his part, Diego Colombo, production director at Alma, said that we talk about storytelling and I think that every brand has a story to tell. The agencys job is to tell that story the best it can be told. First, of course, we have to win the clients trust, and from there we can gradually get them used to taking those little risks.Massimo Martinotti, president of Redmagmamedia, continued, saying that audience behavior has changed and the story must be structured accordingly. The generation of millennials is not used to linear stories, but to being in several different universes simultaneously. Theyre accustomed to using different platforms and different media all at the same time. Social networks have to be included too to make it all very social.
