Eglantina Zingg, modelo y actriz venezolana, además de Embajadora de Buena Voluntad de Yasuní

The Yasuni project kicked off with the shooting of a two-minute video in Madison Square Park in New York City, to be transformed later into a documentary that would include an expedition to the Amazon jungle.Produced by Roberto Alcazar and Juan Fernando Ayora of EO Integration, a social content agency, and directed by Nicolas Entel of Red Creek Productions, the film will premiere March 9 at 4:30 p.m. at the Regal South Beach Cinema 18 (1120 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach 33139), during the Miami International Film Festival 2013. Yasuni was made based on the need to raise worldwide awareness about the Yasuni ITT (Ishpingo-Tambococha-Tiputini) initiative of the United Nations, which seeks to protect the rain forest and permanently prevent the pumping of 846 million barrels of petroleum from that part of Ecuador’s Yasuni National Park . Two videos were developed as part of the project featuring Bryan Walsh of TIME magazine and famed Venezuelan model and actress Eglantina Zingg. The video of Zingg, named goodwill ambassador for the Yasuni ITT, includes an appearance by Ecuadorian Secretary of State Ivonne Baki. The productions highlight the beauty of the rain forest and the importance of preserving the indigenous communities, the ecosystem and all its resources. In 2012, EO Integration in New York created the international campaign Yo Soy Yasuni in five languages to publicize the project, which currently enjoys a massive presence on the social networks Facebook (facebook.com/IamYasuni}, Twitter (@IAmYasuni), YouTube, Pinterest and Google, inviting the international community to support the project.
