New York Festivals International Advertising Awards recibe enormes elogios en la comunidad internacional de la publicidad

The New York Festivals International Advertising Awards has won huge acclaim in the international community of advertising for the evaluation system that uses its qualifier panel. Its unique dynamic brings together the efforts of the distinguished jury to judge all participants thoroughly and fairly.Chris Garbutt, a former member of the jury and CCO of Ogilvy & Mather East, said: “The evaluation work is one of the best, and the criteria used to assess the level of work is really great.”The initial stage of the scoring system comprises a jury of 400 idea men from around the world to screen candidates through two rounds of qualification; and thus ensure security against potential scams. Shortlisted candidates are presented to the jury that previously meets in New York to discuss the list through five continuous evaluation rounds.Meanwhile, the cooperation of the executive jury reflects the spirit of the industry, working for days and using unique levels of assessment. The whole process concludes with selections for first, second and third prize; besides the Best in show.Michael O’Rourke, president of the Festival of New York, said: “The use of criteria not only improves accuracy, but also changes the way our panelists evaluated each entry and provide more accurate results.”
