The global network of IPG Mediabrands announced a series of senior management changes that will strengthen the leadership of the agency around the world and in the US.Immediately after the announcement was made, Bret Leece was promoted to Global Chief Analytics Officer, reporting to Jim Elms, Global Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Leece served as Chief Analytics Officer for the US, where he was key in shaping the approach the North American team would use for data, research and media platforms through which Initiative is recognized, including its subsidiaries Matrix and Real Lives.”Bret has played a key role for change in the US” Elms said. “I am very happy he joined our global team to generate the kind of proactive leadership on vital issues of research and data that our customers require in the world every day.”Moreover, the agency has named Joe Masucci as Chief Analytics Officer in North America. Masucci, professional with extensive experience in the market, joins the agency after being at OMD.As part of the changes, Andy Von Kennel will join the agency as CCO in the US. Von Kennel served as senior VP, Business Development & Integration in IPG Mediabrands, where he worked closely with Initiative. In his new role, Von Kennel will be responsible for leading the business and manage accounts across the US.
