Carreras: Nuestra encuesta reveló que ocho de cada diez hispanos hacen las reservaciones para sus viajes en línea

A new survey of the travel habits of Hispanics in the United States conducted by Best Western International revealed that mobile devices are an important tool for active Hispanic travelers and more than a quarter of respondents reported having made reservations through their mobile phones last year. The results of the survey also revealed that 62% of respondents used their mobile phones to research their travel options and that 28% of travelers depend on their mobile phones to find attractions near their hotels.”We learned that Hispanics are becoming more digitally skilled and are more comfortable for researching and booking their travel online and through their mobile devices,” Felipe Carreras, Director of Electronic Commerce of Best Western International, commented.Similarly, 70% of travelers said they traveled last year with a family of a younger generation and 60% traveled with a family from an older generation. Among those who travel primarily for business, more than half (52%) said that is a little likely to invite a family member to accompany them during the business trip.”Hispanics are a crucial segment of the panorama of our day trips and survey results reiterate the importance of brands to pay attention to their specific needs and habits,” Dorothy Dowling, Marketing and Sales VP of Best Western International, said.
