Rodrigo Vargas, nuevo director de Producción
The Hispanic agency ALMA announced the appointment of Rodrigo Vargas, the new director of production, along with two new hires to the team. Vargas, who has over 20 years of extensive experience in production, has been part of the staff of ALMA as executive producer for five years ago and has a broad portfolio of award-winning work for clients such as McDonald’s, Rosetta Stone, and Clorox. “Our culture is to promote whenever we see the opportunity. from within, and Rodrigo was a natural step as the new Director of Production of the agency,” Luis Miguel Messianu, president and CCO of ALMA, said. “His experience and his work are highly valued in the industry. He understands where we have been and where we want to go, what makes Rodrigo a great visionary asset to ALMA and our culture.”Vargas has been essential in the implementation of several award-winning campaigns for the agency. More recently, he produced Glad tent, which won numerous awards, including two Cannes Lions and the Project Isaac Adweek for Innovation in the Clio awards. Another TV spot produced by Vargas was First customer of McDonald’s, which won two silver awards from FIAP, 2 gold and 1 Grand Prix in the Festival Caribe, and one gold award in the USH Ideas.Other new additions to the production team are Ximena Aguirre as senior producer and Andres Marcos Arguello, producer. Aguirre joins after her experience in Lápiz, Leo Burnett and in Mexico, with a lot of general knowledge and Hispanic market. Arguello comes from La Comunidad in Miami and began his career in LatinWorks.
