Honda launched five continuous days of Summer Cheerance of broadcasting music videos, memes, gifs and visual jokes that brought smiles via social media and organizing events from Monday August 4th to Friday August 8th, to support the annual Charity Clearance Summer Sale of the brand.In addition, as part of the effort, Honda donates $ 100,000 to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The Summer Clearance event was also supported by traditional TV, print, digital and radio ads. Summer Cheerance was launched last Monday, August 4th, with an introductory {video; https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLv_tG8yR7XJkXeHNYTalV6zx3w3fQFuZ4} to broadcast summer happiness. To increase the scope, the brand partnered with YouTube’s star, Andrew Hales, to promote their Summer Cheerance through its {channel LAHWF-YouTube; https://www.youtube.com/user/LAHWF}.The videos captured candid participants as they experienced joy and then shared them in Honda’s social channels. The joy live events included piñatas placed randomly in various places, and Stand here for cheer encouraged people to stand inside a box painted on the floor of a crowded area to receive a surprise. A Cheer detector on the beach found buried treasure chests that were shared with viewers.A Summer Cheerance Pandora station presented a variety of happy songs spread joy and was promoted throughout Pandora.”This collection of ridiculous and wonderful social media ideas, and in real life, was designed to make an impact, create full of smiles excitement and remind people that summer is the best time to get a good deal on a Honda,” Susie Rossick, senior manager of Honda, said.
