Ad Research, in collaboration with DB5, conducted an online survey of Millennials Twitter users in the USA. The study yielded relevant data and provided valuable tips for getting the attention of this segment on the popular social platform.80% of Millennials access Twitter from a mobile device, 81% of them check this platform once a day, at least and 60% tweets daily. That is why, Ad Research suggests brands to post daily with relevant content to involve these avid users.Millennials say they use Twitter because it is fun, 47% agrees that Twitter means a cure for boredom and 60% says they have more fun thanks to Twitter. Besides, 82% shares a fun tweet that is why it is advisable to publish fun content when appropriate.71% of Millennials thinks that Twitter enhances great events and 70% enjoys reading them during the coverage of a live experience on TV, such as an award ceremony or a sports competition. That is why, Ad Research recommends to keep a calendar of the great live events and to prepare ways to call users attention in advance.The research also proved that the so-called Generation of the Millennium uses Twitter to tell their own stories. 56% says that Twitter is for sharing and they use it to show their lives on real time.
