Facebook launches multiproduct ads

The social network Facebook announced new advertising formats for displaying up to three products into one. This new type of advertising is available for web and mobile version of Facebook, for now and worldwide, it can be created through the Facebook Ads API.”These formats allow companies to display three products in a single ad, either on the computer or on a mobile phone. Each featured product will have its own image, description and link access” it was informed.When explaining the benefits of the new advertising products, Facebook informed that with these tools one can reach people who surf small retail sites without making purchases, with multiproduct ads, a presentation of different products can be done and display it to a specific audience. “The American e-commerce company Nomorerack used this alternative and saw its range of up to 42% clicks and its cost per acquisition was reduced between 42% and 45%.”It was informed that advertisers worldwide will have access to multiproduct ad through the Facebook API and it will also be incorporated in other interfaces at the end of this year.
