Mónica Lozano será reemplaza por Francisco Seghezzo como CEO de ImpreMedia
ImpreMedia, a leader company of news and information for Hispanics in the USA, announced that Monica Lozano would not continue as the companys CEO, nor as an editor of La Opinión. Nevertheless, Lozano stayed as the US Hispanic Medias Board President, ImpreMedias central office. Lozano, who lead ImpreMedia during more than 30 years, was replaced by the companys COO, Francisco Seghezzo, who started in his new position on June, 1st. Lozano is considered one of the most successful Latinos in the mass media field. She started her career in 1985 in La Opinión, where she had the editor post in 2004. In 2010, she was appointed as ImpreMedias CEO and she directed the transformation of ImpreMedia from a news business to a multimedia content and multiplatform business.”I am very proud of all that we have achieved in ImpreMedia, but sometimes a career change feels alright. With Franciscos capable leadership and his proven success record, this transition is made in the right moment and with the right person,” Lozano said.On his behalf, Seghezzo thanked for her inspiring leadership. “We are glad she continues participating in ImpreMedia. Her knowledge and experience will continue being an important part of our ambitious plans to expand the scope and the impact of our growing range of multimedia content platforms,” Seghezzo commented.
