For the third consecutive year, it has been conducted a nationwide study on how the US Hispanic community feels in relation to their financial health. This year, for the first time, Hispanics compared to other ethnic groups, such as Asian Americans, non-Hispanic Whites and African Americans. To study the differences and similarities can be a key point for those who want to succeed with multicultural audiences.Mario Carrasco, via MediaPost said that optimism towards the stability of the national economy is among Hispanics, from 37% in 2014 to 46% this year. She also notes that Asian-Americans share a similar tranquility, closely followed by African Americans (52%) and non-Hispanic whites, 32%.In general, 56% of Hispanics are at ease with their finances. And although they are still below expectations of African Americans (64%), they are far ahead of Asian Americans and non-Hispanic whites (both 47%).Finally, the study reveals that Hispanics spend their dollars on expensive items. More than a third of all respondents are planning to purchase a smartphone, a computer, a car or home electronics. For brands, this is a great opportunity to get in front of the Hispanic community. Carrasco believes they should take this opportunity to build a strong relationship with this segment and immerse themselves in a culture that is allowing this community to be so attractive.
