Last Thursday February 5th, organizers of Hispanicize 2015 announced the winner of the Positive Impact Awards, the national program sponsored by 3M which acknowledges extraordinary Latins who contribute selflessly to improvements in their communities. The list of prize winners, who will be honored in the Hispanicize 2015 in Miami from March 16th to March 20th, 2015, highlights ordinary people who make efforts to promote the growth of careers related to STEM, creating innovations in public education, empowering young women, and offering support and resources to those who need them.”Collaboration, sharing, and dedication shown by each one of these individuals turns them into a brilliant example of what it means to live life in service to others,” said the founder and creative director of the event Hispanicize, Manny Ruiz.
