The company’s digital entertainment in Spanish, Latin Everywhere announced that it has launched the beta version Póngalo, a new streaming video content service in Spanish, plus a mobile application which opens Tuesday with one of the largest collections of soap-opera titles worldwide. Latin Everywhere also announced it has acquired the technology venture backed by venture capital Inmoo, from the entrepreneur Sergio Radovcic, already a popular destination for independent digital films, that will provide the technological infrastructure to Póngalo.Póngalo offers viewers a wide variety of content from Latin Everywhere of 50,000 hours of television, film and content of children. The beta version will have more than 10,000 episodes of soap-operas that include, among others, featured titles of RCTV of Venezuela (as Juana la Virgen) and Caracol of Colombia. Póngalo will expand its slate of content weekly during 2015 by taking advantage of the huge library of Latin Everywhere, and new programs in Spanish of other content owners worldwide.”US Hispanics consume more entertainment and adopt more mobile devices than any other ethnic group,” Rich Hull and Jorge Granier, Latin Everywhere partners, said. “We are very excited about all the new features and additional content that will be added throughout 2015”.Latin Everywhere was created last October through the merger of Latin Anywhere of Rich Hull and GoTV of Jorge Granier, forming one of the companies with more digital content rights in Spanish worldwide.
