Durante el concierto de Adele agruparon los videos en la sección de Eventos
Instagram, Facebook´s photo and video platform, announced the launching of an Events video channel on its explore page. This feature will show all the videos generated by users in major events like concerts or sports. An algorithm will allow the application to group all the posts from the same event. The move imitates a Snapchat function that gathers all the contents belonging to important dates or emblematic meetings worldwide.Like the rest of the Explore section, the feature is personalized for each user according to their interests, followers and accounts they check the most. Until now, the updates are only available in the US, but Instagram says it plans to implement the feature worldwide soon. Clicking on a video lets users swipe down to scroll through other videos taken at the same show. The social network used it at a concert by Adele in Phoenix and at the Olympics in Rio.This isn´t the first time Instagram ventures into curating videos. For Halloween last year, they created a list of the most popular videos users uploaded to the platform.Starting August, Instagram launched Stories, a feature that allows users to take photos and 10-second videos that disappear after 24 hours. Kevin Systrom, Instagram CEO, stated that Snapchat deserves all the credit for making the format popular.
