J. Walter Thompson announced the acquisition of iStrategyLabs (ISL), digital agency based in Washington. Although the terms were not revealed, ISL’s revenue last year rose to $12.4 million.”With ISL we will be able to deliver even more innovative solutions for our clients,” said Tamara Ingram, global CEO of JWT.The agency, founded by Peter Corbett in 2007, has a list of clients that include Kroger, Medtech and USA Network, Facebook and Nickelodeon.JWT informed that the acquisition will serve to extend commercialization in real time and content production capabilities online-plus-offline in North America.The WPP holding, to which JWT belongs, is also owner of the digital agencies AKQA, Blue State Digital, F.biz in Brazil, Mirum, POSIBLE, Rockfish, VML and Wunderman.
