It is a free, hyper-local, mobile-optimized site that provides Latino consumers with a ticket-purchasing experience that is entirely in Spanish. “The opportunity the advertiser has is that we can give them exclusivity. Another opportunity for sports or entertainment events promotors is that we can offer them things like Data, because as part of our weekly promotions we will have contests to give out free tickets” he explained. The web site is available in the New York City area, focusing in the wide Hispanic community in sports and entertainment. “Obviously our expectation is to have success in NY, and once we accomplish this, we will extend to other markets” he said. The initiative emerged from the users lack of experience in purchasing tickets. None of the major internet tickets sellers offered Hispanic the option to buy entirely in Spanish with a mobile device. “The contribution for Latinos is that nobody was paying attention to this matter. It’s a deficit. None of the important sites offer this service through mobile.”
