After a good market at Natpe Global, Inter Medya is preparing Tuesday, when Content Americas kicks off, to launch a new co-production in alliance with a Latin American company. Tonight, they will be at the Turkish Drama Gala organized by Universal Cinergía Dubbing to celebrate the ten years of the arrival of Turkish content in Latin America. “I am happy and proud to be part of this party,” said Beatriz Cea Okan, VP and Director of Sales and Acquisitions of Inter Medya.
Neslihan Atagül and Kadir Doğulu, the stars of Poison Ivy, a Turkish series by Inter Medya, will also attend the Turkish Drama Gala.
Cea announced an alliance to distribute the catalog of the Turkish platform Gain, with dramas of 6, 8, and 14 episodes. “It is a new trend for platforms that we believe will be a success,” said Cea.
Regarding Natpe Global, she mentioned that the market exceeded her expectations. “It was better than we expected. It has been a different experience, in which we have had access to new clients from the US in the Anglo market, unavailable in other markets. In addition, we have had more time to explain to them about our content with great receptivity, especially from platforms and OTT,” she explained.
At Content Americas, they will showcase the telenovela Leylifer and the drama Blue Cage, both with a Turkish and Latin seal in their DNA. Other titles, such as the second season of Betrayal, The Ivy, Tuzak, Poison Ivy, Another Chance, Scorpion, Last Summer, and The Trusted, are also part of their catalog.
