Pablo Iacoviello, who has been part of Amazon for almost a decade, shared with PRODU that he is leaving his position as director of Monetization of Amazon Studios to embark on new projects.
Unofficially, he took advantage of the company’s recent restructuring and layoffs to step down. Hundreds of Prime Video employees are expected to be affected by the cuts.
The Latin American Content team has not been affected by the changes that are being made to adjust the business to the new ad tiers models, which, according to predictions of Bank of America analysts, Amazon could earn up to US$5 billion next year.
The experienced audiovisual executive was also part of Claro Video’s DLA before Amazon and worked with Claxson Interactive Group.
