VIP 2000 TV, together with Spring Media of Sweden, introduced Aficionados: Los 10 Mandamientos del Fútbol (10×60′), a fiction series with drama and humor that immerses viewers in the experiences of the fans of the most popular sport in the world while supporting their favorite teams. The first country to join the initiative is Venezuela. Televen is the co-producer.
For 90 minutes, a national team manages to unite an entire nation, leaving aside ideologies, religion, and politics to support their team on the field.

VIP 2000 TV, a company that has always shown its commitment to Latin America, presents this franchise in collaboration with Spring Media of Sweden, and it is an honor to highlight that Venezuela has been the first country to join this exciting initiative,” highlights Roxana Rotundo, president and CEO of VIP 2000 TV.
“Los 10 Mandamientos del Fútbol Venezuela marks the beginning of a series that will expand across several Latin American countries in the future. For Spring Media, this fictional series about soccer has a special meaning since soccer is one of the main sports disciplines produced and distributed by the company. In this project, we join forces with VIP 2000 TV to bring this unique experience to the audience,” said Vanessa Velázquez, commercial manager of Spring Media.
“We have heard from our clients about the importance of content localization. The idea with this 10-episode series is that each country adapts the scripts to their local peculiarities and what works in that territory. In addition, this adaptation can be extended to the local league teams, not limited only to the national team,” said Rosalind Rotundo, VP of VIP 2000 TV.
Ideas por Rosca from Argentina writes the scripts for the series and is later adapted by talented local writers from each participating country.
