Regarding FAST, Sony Pictures Television (SPT) is focused on continuing the expansion in the Mexican market, where they have experienced growth. “We recently announced that two Sony One channels: Sony One Comedies and One Shark Tank Mexico were launched on The Roku Channel. Additionally, our new channel Clásicos was also launched, which allows viewers to enjoy much of the content of the Sony Pictures library” commented Francisco Rivera, Head of Emerging Business for LatAm at SPT.
Rivera adds that Mexico has been “an extremely interesting market in which our channels are working and growing strongly. If you see our content offer, we have something for everybody: Shark Tank, Novelas, Comedies, Competitions, and now Classics” he explained.
For 2024, the company hopes to continue seeing growth. “Our strategy of using data efficiently and developing excellent partnerships with our distributors helps us evolve the offer and implement creative marketing and promotion offers more effectively to support this business” he ended.
