Isaac Lee, who will continue running Exile Content Studios after being acquired by Blackstone’s Candle Media, was grateful and thrilled by the transaction. “We are happy to expand our efforts to raise Latino talent and create content that showcases the experiences and voices of diverse Spanish-speaking communities around the world to universal audiences.”

He thanked Candle and Blackstone “for believing in Exile and our strategy. It is an honor to join this family of studios and content creators, who represent diverse cultures and communities.”

Lee founded Exile Content Studios in 2019 to create content aimed toward Spanish-speaking audiences with a universal appeal for film, series, and non-scripted TV projects. Among their most recent productions are Todo Va A Estar Bien, co-produced with Diego Luna for Netflix, and the docuseries Un Sueño Real with Ana Pastor for HBO. Exile Content Studios is based in Los Angeles with offices in CDMX, Miami, and Madrid.
