NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer (NBCUIN & DTC) announced that the DreamWorks channel is now available in Latin America through VTR in Chile, starting on Thursday the 31st.

We look forward to expanding our portfolio of brands to more operators, engaging audiences with DreamWorks’ robust slate of captivating programming featuring the best for kids’ entertainment, high-quality series, and blockbuster movies,” said Marcello Coltro, SVP of Affiliate Relations, Marketing, and Creative of NBCUniversal International Networks & Direct-to-Consumer Latin America.
“We are very happy to have reached this agreement and add to our grid the most relevant family entertainment channel, a world leader in animation. At VTR we are constantly searching for the best options so that our clients can access high-quality content on the screens of their choice. We are convinced that Dreamworks, included among our other alliances, will allow us to take the experience of watching television to the next level”, stated Cristián Novoa, Manager of Advertising and Content at VTR.
For starters, DreamWorks content includes the series Un Jefe en Pañales: De vuelta en los Negocios, Trolls: no Pierdas el Ritmo!, Las Épicas Aventuras del Capitán Calzoncillos, Las Aventuras del Gato con Botas, Viva el Rey Julien, and El Amanecer de los Croods; as well as a variety of films including Trolls, Shrek and Cómo Entrenar a tu Dragón 2 and 3; and also Sing, La Vida Secreta de las Mascotas, and Minions from Illumination Studios. Other key shows are Kung Fu Panda: Las Patas del Destino and Noddy, Detective en el País de los Juguetes.
