The telenovelas La Otra Cara del Alma and Tanto Amor were launched by TV Azteca through the Pluto TV streaming service. The contents will be available in Portuguese in Brazil starting this Tuesday, February 22. This is the first time that TV Azteca Internacional and Pluto TV make an alliance for the release of content in Portuguese for the Brazilian region.

“Our goal is to expand our reach to non-Spanish speaking Latin American territories —such as Brazil—, an extraordinary territory that, in the past, has hosted great TV Azteca titles dubbed into Portuguese, and what better way to do it with these two telenovelas that have been very successful in different parts of the world. TV Azteca strengthens its offer of content dubbed in other languages and crosses borders day by day,” said Dulce Ávila, Content Sales Manager for TV Azteca Internacional.

Subscribers in Brazil will have access to nearly 250 hours of TV Azteca content in Portuguese, which will be programmed on the Pluto TV grid and will be available on-demand through different mobile devices, web, and connected televisions.

La Otra Cara del Alma (129 x 45´) is about the character Alma (Gabriela Spanic), who after the death of her parents experiences the loss of her innocence and tenderness. Her uncle Carlos, who had previously expelled them from their mansion due to alleged fraud, decides with Aunt Josefina to take Alma out of the orphanage and return her to an opulent life by the side of her cousin Daniela (Michelle Vieth). Alma will seek to avenge her parents and recover her inheritance, but Roberto Monteagudo (Eduardo Capetillo), a successful businessman, will arrive to conquer both Alma’s and Daniela’s hearts. Alma’s destructive impulses will play against her and she will have to decide between revenge and love.

Tanto Amor (120 x 45 ́) is the story of Mía (Melissa Barrera), who lost her home, her job, and her mother in a matter of hours, which will change her life, including those of her two sisters: the arrogant and irresponsible Noelia (Adianez Hernández) and the sweet Mary (Miriam Higareda), who was born blind. The three young women lived under the protective wing of Don Óscar, the patriarch of the Lombards, for whom her mother Francisca was much more than a cook, but an ally and confidant. Alberto (Leonardo García) believed he was in control of his life and world, to the point that he is sure that he had found love in Oriana (Rossana Nájera), his fiancée, but this is about to end. The unexpected death of his grandfather, Don Óscar, take him to return to Spain to Los Ciruelos, the hacienda owned by the Lombardo family. Alberto feels overwhelmed, in his mind resounds the last words of fury that he exchanged with old Don Óscar, the same words that led him to his self-exile.
