Guillermo Sierra de HINT
HITN is exploring this year the acquisition of genres that are not still on its screen. “Unlike other channels which aim for rating, we seek to better serve the public. We are exploring the acquisition of fiction formats based on real stories, real literature, science, general culture,” said Guillermo Sierra, Head of Television and Digital Services at HITN.
For the beginning of the year, HTN is also focused on launching the premiere of the third season of Mundo Salvaje, led by Ron Magill. This new edition was produced from Yellowstone Park. “This year we are focusing more on the Americas. Also, the series has a lot of segments recorded in Latin America,” he added.
For 2022 HITN is on a mission to strengthen its HITN Go app. “This year we are going to start adding content that will only be on HITN Go. We are going to broadcast a summary of a sequence of conferences of the women’s summit held in Puerto Rico. We are doing an experiment, taking this type of content directly to Go and we will be doing this a lot. We are going to add the content of all kinds to grow and it becomes more consolidated as our own platform. It is a totally free service. We don’t sell it,” Sierra emphasized.
The channel is already celebrating 40 years on the air.
