Underground, a division of Telemundo Global Studios, is moving forward with its production plan in Argentina. Less than two weeks ago the recordings of seasons 4 and 5 of the El Marginal series, created by Sebastián Ortega and directed by Alejandro Ciancio and Mariano Ardanaz, will be released soon through Netflix, concluded. And as it prepares to shoot the fiction Diario de un Gigolo for Telemundo, they are moving forward with the development of the series Bios, Vidas que Marcaron la Tuya by National Geographic, which will be displayed on Star+.
“After a difficult year for productions around the world, we are very pleased to report that Underground continues to actively produce in the country. With the production of El Marginal, Diario de un Gigolo and, soon, Historia de un Clan, Telemundo Global Studios and Underground fulfill their commitment of continue promoting the production of audiovisual content from Argentina to the world,” said Marcos Santana, president of NBCUniversal Telemundo Global Studios.
“Within the production company there are other great challenges with new projects that, like El Marginal, will travel through the most important platforms in the world,” added Sebastián Ortega, director of Development at Telemundo Global Studios.
Underground is also working on the adaptation of the successful Argentinian series Historia de un Clan for Telemundo.
