¡HOLA! TV: Reaching a younger demographic

Due to the confinement, ¡HOLA! TV reports a 100% growth in ratings in the last two months compared to what they obtained before the health emergency. “Additionally, we see we are reaching a new demographic: a younger audience,” adds Marcos Pérez, CEO and general manager of ¡HOLA! TV.

He mentioned that, luckily, the signal had not had to stop production of its shows in studios and that since they were part of the Spanish company Atresmedia, they were closely following the protocols implemented in Spain and they were able to act rapidly creating two production teams for the shows. The only space that was affected was Conexión ¡HOLA! TV since it is made with the contribution of international correspondents in the coverage of events, which are suspended for now.

Pérez highlighted the work team´s huge commitment. Advertising Sales, Marketing, and certain areas of Programming are working remotely.

The spaces with the most outstanding performance have been La Hora ¡HOLA!, Coronas y Palacios, and Top de Estilos (the latter is the most recently launched). He detailed that for the fourth quarter of the year there will be programming debuts.
