The actress Salma Hayek with her production company Ventanarosa signed a first-look agreement with WarnerMedia´s HBO Max platform for two years. With the agreement, Ventanarosa will present projects to HBO Max for their possible development.

Salma Hayek, who has been nominated to an Academy Award, among others, has ventured into cinema and television as a producer and director, being recognized by productions such as the film Frida, The Maldonado Miracle, for which she won an Emmy as Best Direction, and in the adaptation for the US of Ugly Betty, that achieved a Golden Globe as a producer for Best Musical Television Series. She recently produced together with Lemon Studios, Monarca for Netflix, which is expected to launch as the second season this year, and together with Buena Vista Original Productions is preparing as executive producer Santa Evita.
