Blim TV continues renovating now with original fiction, with the arrival of a new series by Televisa Digital, Sobreamor, that will be launched next Friday, February 14.
The 7-episode (15 minutes each) series, that presents a cartoon-like visual style, will be delivered in two episodes each Friday until the season concludes, having Blim TV as its first screen.
This work corresponds to Televisa Digital´s strategy of producing original content. “This series was created based on two things: a vision to produce content that creates conversations, that aligns what people are looking for, and a strategy to join a global, short-duration, but the high-quality content trend,” detailed Daniel C. Zorrilla, who leads the area of Original Contents at Televisa Digital.
“We are testing with shorter chapters or episodes, the way it is being done on some other platforms for a younger target,” said Vanessa Rosas, director of Blim TV. “We have a clear windowing strategy, where productions will first be watched on Blim and then on other windows”.
The idea, explained the executive, is to continue launching contents on Blim TV, including series and films by Televisa, as well as acquisitions of productions from other studios, in upcoming months.
Sobreamor, a production by Daniel C. Zorrilla, stars Alberto Garmassi, Susana González and Tatiana del Real. With hues of dramatic comedy and magical realism, it tells the story of Martin, a twenty-year-old who finds himself in an absurd and sometimes surreal quest for love.
