Amazon Prime Video and PantaYA announced the return of the critically-acclaimed series El Juego de las Llaves (The Game of Keys), with two new seasons greenlit for production.
The provocative half-hour Spanish-language series is slated to return in 2020, launching exclusively on Prime Video in Mexico and more than 200 countries and territories around the world, and on PantaYA in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
“The first season of El Juego de las Llaves broke the mold by bringing the taboo topic of modern-day swinging into the social conversation, adding new depth and perspectives on how we approach relationships and commitment. Audiences are not going to want to miss the new seasons of the series as the story takes us even further into the world of ethical non-monogamy,” said James Farrell, VP, International Originals at Amazon Studios.
Mario Almeida, Vice President of Development, Programming, and Acquisitions for PantaYA said, “The success of season one of El Juego de las Llaves is a testament to the incredible talent of the actors, writers, and production team who brought these characters to life. We are proud to highlight Latinx stories that push the boundaries and resonate with viewers who crave bold and original storytelling. We know that audiences will enjoy the upcoming games!”
