HITN TV announced the first of a series of Actívate con Vida y Salud community health fairs to take place in different cities around the country during 2020.
The Health Fair, which takes place on Saturday, January 25 from 10am to 4pm at the Pacoima City Hall, California, is a free, family-friendly event created by HITN TV in collaboration with Spectrum to promote its health and wellness program daily block Vida y Salud designed to promote health and well-being among US Hispanic audiences, hosted by Dr. Aliza.
“With so much of our focus on advancement through education and career development it’s easy for us as Latinos to lose sight of our health. For this reason, we at HITN continue to dedicate resources towards the awareness of medical conditions that disproportionately affect our community and the overall importance of physical and mental well-being. Actívate con Vida y Salud is one of the ways that we intend on raising awareness directly in Hispanic communities. We look forward to launching the first of these health fairs in Pacoima where Latinos represent over 80% of the population,” commented Michael D. Nieves, HITN’s president and CEO.
“Spectrum is proud to partner with HITN TV to bring the Actívate con Vida y Salud Health Fair to Pacoima and give back to the communities we serve,” said Keri Askew Bailey, Spectrum Regional VP, State Government Affairs, West Region.
