Telemundo confirmed the official cast for the new season of the hit super series Enemigo Íntimo, starring Fernanda Castillo and Raúl Méndez, both returning to reprise their lead roles as Roxana Rodiles and Alejandro Ferrer respectively.
The star-studded international cast also includes Aitor Luna, Manuel Ojeda, Irán Castillo, Elyfer Torres, Maria del Carmen Félix; the special participation of Matías Novoa, Alejandro Speitzer, Leonardo Daniel, Claudette Maillé, Arturo García Tenorio, and guest stars Luis Zahera and Tony Plana.
Filmed in Mexico and Spain, the story picks up two years later from the end of the last season. Roxana (Castillo), who is no longer able to hide under her alias Professor, will fight to reestablish the Mil Cumbres cartel and to continue strengthening her drug-trafficking business. On the other side, Alejandro (Méndez), now a commander of the Antidrug Unit, will do everything in his power to stop her and the cartel, especially now that he knows that the Professor and her missing sister are the same people. These power struggles will unleash a war between these two blood siblings, now turned mortal enemies.
The super series’ stellar cast includes Luis Alberti, Germán Bracco, Amaranta Ruiz, Yuvanna Montalvo, Tiago Correa, Erick Chapa, Julio Casado, Hector Kotsifakis, Ruy Senderos, and Jorge Gallegos, among others. Written by Lina Uribe and Darío Vanegas, Enemigo Íntimo is an Argos production for Telemundo Global Studios, directed by Walter Dohener, Danny Gavidia and Felipe “Pipe” Aguilar with Marcos Santana, Ximena Cantuarias and Mabel Vargas as executive producers.
