The Turkish drama Amor Eterno (Endless Love), from the Inter Medya catalog, registered an excellent first week on Univision.
The launch exceeded Telemundo´s Caso Cerrado in Adults 18-49 (+18%; 452,000 vs. 384,000) and in Adults 18-34 (+70%; 211,000 vs. 124,000). It also exceeded Telemundo´s content at 8pm (Un Poquito Tuyo) in Total TV Viewers 2+ (+40%; 1.2 million vs. 862,000), Adults 18-49 (+34%; 452,000 vs. 338,000) and Adults 18-34 (+60%; 211,000 vs. 132,000).
During the first week of broadcast, Amor Eterno averaged 1.1 million in TT 2+, 413,000 in 18-49 and 170,000 in 18-34. Thursday, it was the most watched novela of the week in TT 2+ (1.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (466,000). It performed better than Caso Cerrado in 18-49 (+12%; 413,000 vs. 370,000) and 18-34 (+10%; 170.000 vs. 155,000) and also exceeded Un Poquito Tuyo (8pm novela on Telemundo) in +2 (+38%; 1.1 million vs. 813,000), 18-49 (+26%; 413,000 vs. 327,000) and 18-34 (+13%; 170,000 vs. 150,000).
“Endless love has reached more than 80 countries. It is a very strong series with a truly global appeal and has all the seals of the classical Turkish drama: heartrending romance at its core, family conflicts, and a great cast,” mentioned Beatriz Cea Okan, VP Content Sales, and Acquisition at Inter Medya.
Endless Love won the International Emmy for the Best Telenovela last year, marking a milestone for the industry of Turkish television.
