Global Agency: We are aiming at increasing our sales by 20%

While Latin America continues maintaining their high demand for Turkish drama, the interest in digital platforms and those from Spain, which has already bought two titles from Global Agency: Mother (Atresmedia to be broadcast in Nova) and Daydreamer (Mediaset to be aired on Divinity).

“The importance of streaming platforms has become undeniable. We have closed multiple agreements with Netflix and continue working to expand the reach of Turkish series on those platforms,” expressed Iván Sánchez, Sales director for Latin America.

With this landscape, the distribution company bets on expanding its catalog “and making our sales grow by, at least, 20% this 2019,” added Sánchez.

The most recent dramas they will present on MipTV include Sisters, Gülperi and Evermore, that already has two seasons (the first with 51 episodes and the second with 129) and a third one in production. It is a love story between a rich man and a young singer who fights against family traditions.

The distribution company estimates that format sales make an important leap this year. Upgrade, From the Israeli production company Tanin Productions & TV, is one of the outstanding products.
