In the final event of the BBC Studios Showcase 2019, One Planet: Seven Worlds, Paul Dempsey, the company´s president of Global Markets, thanked the attendees and highlighted that in the two days of the event 10 thousand episodes from 800 different shows were viewed and that the content people watched most was natural history.
Dempsey also brought Hans Zimmer the composer of the music of the new natural history series, One Planet: Seven Worlds, to the stage. He presented an extract of the new show, with the new music, played by a live orchestra.
“I think that in almost all the territories in the world, audiences have enjoyed Planet Earth II, and Blue planet II and only in the last two years, a billion people have watched these shows. So I am proud to present the new Planet franchise that will become milestones in the next five years, one per year: Perfect Planet, Frozen Planet II, Green Planet, Planet Earth III and launching this year, One Planet: Seven Worlds,” he added.
