Jeff Shell NBCUniversal
With the reorganization of high executives of NBCUniversal, in which its CEO, Steve Burke, who reports directly to him, the company is preparing for the launch of their streaming service for next year as a free offer for NBCU cable subscribers in the US, which will be supported by advertisements.
The changes include that César Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises and NBCUniversal International Group, will now report to Jeff Shell, who became president of NBCUniversal Film and Entertainment. Shell will be in charge of overseeing the operations of NBC Entertainment, Telemundo and International.
Shell joins the trio of exclusive support that will report directly and help Burke be relieved of certain aspects in order to be able to focus on streaming, where Mark Lazarus and Bonnie Hammer will be. Likewise, Linda Yaccarino, president of Advertising Sales and Client Partnerships, and NBCUniversal VP, Ron Meyer, will continue reporting to Burke.
Each one will be responsible for certain people. Andy Lack, president of NBC News, and the president and CEO of CNBC, Mark Hoffman, will report to Lazarus; whereas, Maggie Suniewick, who leads the enterprise’s group of digital companies, will report to Hammer.
