Panorama Global: To take care of our product we have taken a step aside from the turmoil of content

Alberto Müffelmann, partner and director of Production at Panorama Global, made it clear that they have their own rhythm and are not allowing themselves to be trapped by the content turmoil imposed by digital platforms on the series production offer and demand market. Panorama Global is the producer of the film Museo, with Gael García Bernal and Leonardo Ortizgris, already in theaters in Mexico City since last October 26, which will be the first film in Spanish for YouTube Originals.

“More and more content is being requested, and it must be made better, with more interesting stories. I personally prefer making films than series, because this gives you more time and you can be more careful with the work. If we are going to make a series, it has to be because we have the time to make it as we want to, and to be paid for it as we should,” he said.

He explained that they already have three series underway, one with a pilot, about love between gay girls, which they are still looking for a window to exhibit it, that could be finished next year. Another one they are still developing and has been a true challenge, called Litempo, is a spy drama written by Manuel Alcalá and Mauricio Kratz, that would be ready to be shot at the end of 2019, and a comedy that is still in its initial phase.

They are also working on two films: Todas Las Pecas del Mundo, directed by Yibran Asuad, that was already shot and is in the edition phase. It will be ready in the middle of next year and Ya No Estoy Aquí by Fernando Frías.
