Roku, Inc. and Funimation Global Group announced that Funimation is now available on the Roku platform in Mexico and Brazil. Roku users in these two countries will be able to enjoy more than 1,500 hours of anime programming from Funimation directly on their Roku device.

“Anime is an enthusiastic programming genre that is experiencing great growth around the world through its passionate community of fans, especially in Latin America. We are excited to welcome Funimation and its extensive anime content to our users in Mexico and Brazil so they can enjoy hours of entertainment,” said Yulia Poltorak, director of International Content Distribution at Roku.

“Wherever there is a community of fans, we will get them the shows they love. This partnership gives anime fans in Latin America a great user experience and another way to enjoy the content they love,” said Colin Decker, CEO of Funimation Global Group.

Funimation recently launched its anime content service in Brazil and Mexico at the end of 2020, offering subtitled and select dubbed anime series in Spanish and Portuguese.
