Medical dramas like Hekimoglu have a huge impact

Ruthless City (sold to 76 countries), the romantic comedy Love Trap and the medical drama Hekimoglu (an adaption of Dr. House) are Kanal D International’s main titles for NATPE Virtual Miami.

Hekimoglu is already in its second season in Turkey and has created a stir on social media: the character of Dr. Ates Hekimoglu has his own fan base, in which there are also followers of Dr. House. “Especially in these days of pandemic medical dramas have a huge impact on raising social awareness and are a good means to show the difficulties that doctors have to overcome,” detailed Kerim Emrah Turna, Executive Director of Kanal D International.
