Juan Cyterszpiler, COO of Isurus, pointed out that the gaming world’s audience is very demanding, therefore he recommends brands to be aided by experts in order to venture into this ecosystem for the first time. Cyterszpiler participated in Esports Talks Brand Collaboration organized jointly by AMC Networks International – Latin America and PRODU.
“I advise relying on experts because traditional corporatism is not the way in which this public engages,” he said. This is a 10 to 20 years old audience, where especially those between the ages of 20 and 40 have a high purchasing power. On the other hand, he added, that those between 12-18 are the group where traditional brands find it difficult to appeal, so it is important to do it the right way.
Gonzalo Borello, CMO of Hispanoamérica, Redragon, added that unlike traditional sports, in which non-endemic brands simply place a contract, agrees on the services, and closes an agreement, in this sector, there is a continuous synergy between the connoisseurs of the field and brands. “They do not let go, they take them by the hand, in a task that can sometimes be very artisanal and synergistic.”
Latin America has nothing to envy to other regions of the world, in terms of sports results, developments, or creativity, Cyterszpiler commented. He said that the great project for Isurus in 2021 is mobile, in which they will work as a team but also help brands to insert themselves into this ecosystem.
