Coproduction offers the possibility to create high-level fictionseries

María Jesús Pérez, Sales director at RTVE Internacional, commented that they closed a deal for the sales of Néboa on open TV in Slovenia and another one for Sabuesos for China.

“We are in the middle of several negotiations of titles such as La Caza. Monteperdido; Estoy Vivo; Acacias 38; El Ministerio del Tiempo; Hit, Isabel; La Otra Mirada and Lazos de Sangre for different territories, in America as well as in Europe and Asia”.

On the other hand, she assured that due to the huge production stop they experienced, “there is certainly concern among buyers over having programming alternatives. Likewise, the outlook for the next few months regarding a second outbreak is not good, which leads to the release of some budgets and the acceleration of certain acquisitions.”

She also mentioned that one of RTVE´s last bets is the co-production of titles. “This formula is offering us the possibility of creating a new, very high-level fiction series. This is the case of Inés del Alma Mía or Ana Tramel. El Juego, that will be available for the beginning of 2021 and which we have big hopes for”.
