El pacto
Pasiones premiered the Argentine mini-series El Pacto (The Pact) on the network’s Latin American feed on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Inspired by real events, the 13-episode crime series, which airs on Saturdays, alludes to the sale of the largest Argentine newsprint manufacturer, Papel Prensa, during Argentina’s last military dictatorship (1976-1983).
El Pacto tells the story of Lucía Córdova (Cecilia Roth), a lawyer specializing in economic crimes, who takes on the controversial liquidation case of an Argentine company. Unaware of the implications this case may have and the toll it will take on her personal life, she delves deeper into the investigation and discovers important officials are involved in concealing an even greater crime in this thrilling drama series.
