Cinema and TV are growing increasingly close, and proof of this is the wave of Mexican filmmakers who are venturing into series production. Now, it is Michel Franco and his production company Lucía Films who are preparing together with the producer Pedro Damián and the actor Eugenio Derbez, the pilot of the series El Que Se Enoja Pierde, exclusive for Blim.”Michel invited me, I was very eager to work with him and finally, it happened. It’s great that Televisa is is opening up to new ways of working, mentioned Derbez.This series will show the change open TV is going through and will include the actress and singer Ninel Conde.Franco will join the list of filmmakers like Jorge Aragón, who is preparing the first season of Realidad Aumentada, Mexican version of Mesudarim de Keshet. The cast includes Dolores Heredia, Juan Diego Covarrubias and Natasha Dupeyrón.Gustavo Loza is one of the filmmakers who is most familiar with TV, through his production company Adicta Films, with which it has developed projects like Los Héroes del Norte, El Pantera and Cloroformo. He was the first to place a project exclusively on Blim, the series 40 y 20.Las 13 Esposas de Wilson Fernández, is another production in which they are working together with Inna Payán.Other filmmakers who are preparing production for Blim are Marco Polo Constandse, Gabriel Ripstein and Leonardo Zimbrón.
