Volver a Nacer (13×60), a new mini-series from Argentina featuring political conflicts, jealousy, intrigue, family secrets and more, premieres in primetime on Canal 22 Internacional on Saturday, September 3 at 7pm PST/10pm EST.Volver a Nacer, which was directed by Daniel De Filippo, was the winner of the National Institute of Cinema and Audio-Visual for Public Television of Argentina. The mini-series is a co-production of Astro Films and Atuel Producciones S.R.L.Volver a nacer tells the story about two twin sisters who are separated at birth during the military dictatorship in Argentina. Centering on Pilar and Soledad (who are played by real-life twin sisters, actresses Melina and Julieta Petrilla), the sisters are put up for adoption after their parents disappear during the coup de ètat. Separated, the sisters go on to lead very different lives. Pilar is raised in a wealthy home but as the daughter of an ex-military man, Pilar must face her fathers trail for crimes against humanity. Meanwhile, Soledad grows up in a humble environment, knowing that she is adopted. After 30 years of separation, the sisters begin a very complex and painful search for their true identities which leads them to discover terrible secrets.
