Ricardo Coeto, general director of New Projects at TV Azteca

A few months after the announcement of the internal and screen renovation of TV Azteca, Ricardo Coeto, the channel´s general director of New Projects, highlighted the opportunity they have to consolidate and improve their proposals, assuring that open TV must diversify its offer, understanding that co-productions are a key element and the future of the industry.”What open TV needs are quality formats that people like, diversifying the offer and finding the entertainment streak that combines entertainment, reality and drama programs. It is necessary to determine who the stars, hosts, technical aspects and editing are and evolve with the offer,” commented the executive. Coeto defined co-productions as the future and something that the market needs. He thinks they “must seek these alliances that allow us to be more risky. It is the future in all aspects, together with OTT, VOD, among other things and we must be stronger and have a better screen that is more relevant for people and our clients”.
