Olympusat, Inc. has gained substantial market share and achieved high levels of customer satisfaction through its owned and operated HD networks, branded as the Ultra HD Plex, enticing Hispanic audiences with the very best Spanish-language television programming. Now, as the company expands its reach to connect more viewers with the content they absolutely love, this HD suite of networks that range across all genres, is refreshing its look, while also investing more resources in the acquisition and production of original movies and other high-quality scripted content. All of this, as a prelude to the release of the 11 Ultra HD Networks for OTT consumption. Their programs will be viewed on demand for the first time, in addition to lineal streaming.“For Olympusat, the expansion of our HD channels’ distribution reinforces our commitment to technology innovation while we continue providing consumers the most robust Spanish-language library in the U.S. market. Every day we improve our unrivaled portfolio of channels, knowing that our audience will watch us across multiple platforms,” stated Jesús Piñango, director of TV Content Strategy.Piñango explained that the new look aims to customize the identity of each Ultra network, through elements that tap into the preferences of the targeted audience, thus creating compelling messages.“So far, our programming promotions have been more generic, based on the description of the channel. From now on we will be more specific to inform loyal viewers well in advance exactly what they can expect to see in each channel,” he added. Olympusat launched the Ultra HD Plex channels in 2012, and expanded the HD portfolio two years later.
