Globo: The sales of the format No Tomorrow for CBS is part of the expansion strategy towards the US market

As part of the international expansion, Globo closed the sales of the format Cómo Aprovechar el Fin del Mundo to CBS, which will start broadcasts on CW in the US under the title No Tomorrow.The announcement made in the framework of the LA Screenings, was detailed by Raphael Corrêa, executive director for International Business at Globo, who mentioned it is an important step for the group, that in the future wishes to not only sell formats, “but also identify opportunities in which we can participate as coproducers of projects in the US market, which has a big content offer.”He explained that they had already had references of property contents placed in this market, however, “we have been working on this option format sales option and it matches an interesting and determining format, now in the hands of Ben Silverman and his team”.The series is based on the original Brazilian plot. The production is by CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros. Television in alliance with Electus. The executive producers are Corinne Brinkerhoff, Maggie Friedman and Ben Silverman. The team of authors also includes Scott McCabe and Tory Stanton.
