One of the greatest bets in 2016 for Canal Once is the historic series Juan Inés, produced by Patricia Arriaga, based on the life of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz and is aired on Saturdays at 9:30pm. The actress Yolanda Corrales who takes part in the production, spoke with PRODU about her experience in the role of Vice-queen Maria Luisa. To do this character I had to have a very demanding preparation, watching other productions like TVEs Isabel, and doing research on the Internet, to have a reference and create my own version. This series opens the doors for production companies and television stations to create risky and different content that reflects the reality of Mexico and the world, she commented.She highlighted her admiration for the producer Patricia Arriaga, who took the risk of making this series with a low budget, achieving a story of great quality that has nothing to envy international productions. We are seeing an interesting movement in TV.Before participating in Juan Inés, Corrales was part of the cast of the series Paramédicos, also by Canal Once and her next projects include to finalize shootings of the independent film, Estoy Cansado de Despertar Contigo. She is creating her own projects, which include an Internet series and a feature film, together with the group of actors and writers, Cinema Actores.
