Mediaset: CincoMas appears because of the increasing demand for our contents in the US and LatAm

CincoMas is a Spanish channel that belongs to Mediaset, available entirely in Spanish for the Hispanic market in the US and all Latin America.“For several years in the region we had received requests for a channel such as CincoMas, that somehow gathered the three-in-one philosophy: the best fiction, the best entertainment and something more”, Xosé Manuel Barreira, director of Mediaset’s Canal Internacional told PRODU.This channel is made up of productions that have been successful in the audiences of the four channels that comprise Mediaset. “Programming is oriented towards a demanding audience, it is available in HD and thought for the various moments of the day and consumption phases that can bring satisfaction to people”, added the executive.“We don’t handle novelas, our strength are fiction series like El Príncipe, that has achieved audiences above 30% in Spain. We will also have comedy, dramedy, thrillers, among other genres”, said Barreira.“The diferentiator we contribute is the high level of content and production. Proof of this is that in other countries they are doing remakes of our productions, like El Chiringuito, that will be adapted by Fox for the US in English and is also available in other countries, dubbed”, concluded Barreira.Currently, CincoMas is available in countries like Argentina and the US and before the first half of 2016 it is expected to enter new markets in the region.
